VAT & Invoicing

Pre-launch information: online ordering is gated. Seller identity, actual stock, prices and final policies require owner verification. Do not send payment using unverified details.

VAT registration has not been confirmed. Tax calculation is currently switched off; no VAT number or VAT-registration claim is published.

What must be confirmed before launch

The owner must confirm the legal seller, registration status, VAT number if applicable, prices inclusive or exclusive of tax, product tax classes and the tax treatment of delivery. Those choices must be configured consistently in WooCommerce and reviewed by an appropriate adviser where needed.

Current order documents

A protected printable order document is implemented for authenticated customers’ own orders. It reproduces the line items and saved WooCommerce totals. Unpaid orders are labelled pro forma. This feature is not yet fully tested against a completed order and is not a completed statutory VAT-invoice system.

Illustration, not the current tax configuration

If goods were £100, goods VAT were £20 and delivery were £30 with no further delivery tax in that example, the total would be £150. This is an arithmetic illustration only, not a declaration of Palletoryx’s registration, shipping tax treatment or current checkout total.

Invoices and audit records

A compliant VAT invoice requires the appropriate issuer information, numbering and tax details. Those requirements remain a launch task. An order number, pro forma document or payment-pending email must not be represented as a valid VAT invoice merely because it can be printed.

Questions about a document

Contact support with the order number and the specific detail you need checked. Do not create your own VAT figure from a listing. Read payment information and terms and conditions.
